I'm similar except that even before social media I was quite. I recently looked over my old ICQ and MSN details and it was completely blank, no details at all about me because I was cautious of internet security and also didn't want to feel judged by what I put on display. I think that is the biggest hurdle that I need to overcome, the idea of feeling judged harshly.
I did this a few months ago and was shocked that I remember my number as well. I still occasionally hear the Oh oh notification sound in my head. Nostalgia is great.
