Greetings from Wichita Falls TX!
Hi everyone!
This place looks pretty groovy. Hope you don't mind if I kick my feet up and hang out for a bit. The drama at Reddit is a bit much for my liking... I'm Jennifer Wieda. I'm a Texas transplant who got here in a really long and round-about way from New York. Former retail monkey/entry-level techie/truck driver who finally found her niche in healthcare. I dabble in art and writing, love to cook, and have been known to rescue antique books from time to time. I'm a fan of podcasts including No Agenda, Blendover (where I got my feet wet on the on-air end as an occasional guest host), Heavy Metal Historian, and The Black Guy Who Tips. I am also attendant to a curious but aloof cat, and provider of cuddles and Scooby Snax to a shaggy and lick-happy dog.

Sup. Interestingly enough I am from Texas, and trying to make my way to new york. I am from Houston and I am trying to get into NYU. I want to go into healthcare as a doctor so we have a bit in common. I have been trying to find reddit alternatives for a while and this one is the only one that actually seems like it might become a permanent replacement. Reddit is just boring now. Full of toxic people. I am tired of it and really want to get into something new, so here I am!
Yeah, Reddit is either boring or full of popcorn-worthy dreck these days. I hadn't been on in a while, saw the most recent bit of unpleasantness, and headed over here. I like the looks of this as an alternative and hope it works out well.
