You can unfollow as many or all of the people and you won't get in trouble at all! Snapzu has new users automatically follow some users that have been here a while, post a lot of really good content, and generally espouse the type of community Snapzu embodies; this helps new users get a feel for the site and gives them a great starting point for finding tribes and discussions to participate in. I've also found these users to be pretty much universally helpful if you want to PM them a question.
