ok Snapzu, how old are you?

Yesterday we had a great talk about where everyone comes from and it's still going: http://snapzu.com/t/lounge/tribepost/Y4KYFAN/what-country-do-you-come-from/

Anyway, today i am interested in how old you guys are (Yes i am a curious person). :)

So Snapzu, how old are you?

Greetings,

EDIT: removed. I just realised I don't want to give loads of data openly on the internet so that my web handle can be associated with my actual identity! What if I want to be rude to someone? lol

Here's a phrase I learned from guys working in IT security: there are only two types of paranoia - absolute and insufficient.

But why would you want to be rude? :( It's so much nicer when people are nice to each other! :)

Ok, what if someone fell in love with me and wanted to stalk me? Again!

Well, then I believe the prudent measure would be to contact the appropriate authorities. Though it certainly is a valid reason to limit one's exposure. :)

My main issue is I know that if someone was petty enough - a disgruntled co-worker or something (not that I go around getting people all disgruntled out of habit, mind) - they could probably find my online identity and get something I've said and use it against me. I like to be able to speak freely online without too much fear of it bleeding into IRL. It's one of the great benefits of not being a hugely successful and/or famous person, so I like to get the most out of it!

Prudent thinking which I agree with. :) I, too, try to maintain some distance between RL & online interactions, though I haven't been overly cautious with such things and I'm sure someone with enough time on their hands could manage to find something. And agreed on the whole famous part, I'm quite sure that is something I couldn't manage!

              @eilyra -

Or maybe I am famous and that's to throw people off the scent. And maybe this is a double bluff. NONE OF YOU CAN PROVE ANYTHING

31, a little old in the grand scheme of internet communities but I've been dabbling around the internet since I was 16 or so

I'll be 25 in August, and considering the age I began using the internet, I also feel old. I think I got my first computer when I was in 5th grade, because "mom I need it to write papers. I need internet to research for papers." 15 years of gaming later...

I'm old enough to remember when Jimmy Carter was President. My mother did not approve.

32, which I like because it is a round number (yes, I do write code for a living).

    28.

I don't feel like it, though. I still go to the park and swing on swingsets, love being goofy with the fiancé, and just generally have fun! But on the other hand I have many interests and views in common with older folk, and I've been described as beyond my years. I really am past the point that my age means anything - I can barely remember it half the time!

Well, I feel like this will immediately make everything I say irrelevant, but 18.
