I've just bought quite a few games (hadn't bought any for so long!), I'd recommend: Machi Koro (very fun and quick to learn), Boss Monster (easy to pick up, cool graphics, less expensive), and Smallworld (haven't played it yet!). I also picked up a version of ticket to ride and carcassonne :)
