I'm really enjoying the website format - it's easy to cross-post to different tribes at once, share multiple different media types at once, and overall the site (for me) is extremely user friendly. It needs a few tweaks yet, but so far I love it.
That, and the overall positive attitude of users. No bots allowed. No negativity or circle-jerking (that I've seen so far).
For me, it's basically a fresh start. Take what was really cool about Reddit and make it better.
I'm not immediately sure, but having just come over too, I kinda like it better. There's a nice medium population here, so it feels like what you say actually matters more.

I still like and frequent reddit, it's just become so big and I like here because it's a smaller community :)
