Unless you're offended by science posts, interesting articles, talk about tomatoes, what beers you like or other causal topics of conversation you'll find this place quite friendly :D. The smaller base does it I think. I left reddit too because it was too hostile that and my fellow wino's disappeared. I got really tired of people toting the subjective as the definite so I retreated to the smaller brewing and wine subs but then my favorite people disappeared.
