Welcome to the site! I'd say this is a much more woman-friendly environment. I don't know anything about the creepy or threatening messages as I'm not a woman, but the public comments. I've only seen one objectively sexist comment here and it was downvoted into oblivion. We work very hard to keep a respectful community here.
