Hello, all...New Year, new site

Just posting to say hello.

I'm -not- a Reddit refugee, I still use it but keep to the smaller subs and use filters to try and improve the signal to noise ratio. I have it so filtered over there that I usually only have to visit once or twice a day, most everything is filtered out so much that my front page doesn't change all that much.

I'm trying out this site just to see what's up, and to have an alternative to Reddit (in fact, I found it in the alternatives to Reddit sub). I like the fact that this site seems like a newer and cleaner version of Reddit, and everything seems "similar enough, but different" that hopefully the learning curve won't be too difficult. Although, I'm sure there's going to be no shortage of me still calling them "subreddits" instead of tribes...
