I've been using gamemaker for the last three years. It's a great! I still suck at it, but I've managed to make a few decent games with it. My problem is I can never seem to finish anything...

  i've been at it for about a month now... it's such a frustrating experience. but it is sooo satisfying when something works.
  
  i haven't finished anything either... it has gotten to the point where I'm just recording ideas for complex game types that I can hopefully return to when I have the experience
