I always stayed away from Reddit b/c it struck me as kind of the underbelly of the interwebz (not based on anything, just a vibe I got from the few links I clicked). I came to see it as the repository of everything that it is.... so a more civilized version seems like a good way to keep up w/ current events!
For sure! Just have to find the right tribes. I agree though I always felt turned away by reddit users! This is a great community that tends to be much more open minded.
