However, any or many people that see it may take it upon themselves to follow the link and participate there, which Reddit might seriously mind and would’ve been prevented with an NP link instead.
Not sure I'm a big fan of linking there. People might pull out the brigading card.
At the very least, it should be a ‘no participation’ link, so ‘np.reddit.com’ rather than ‘www.reddit.com.’

I do agree, but the NP thing is just a gimmick. Anyone devoted to whatever cause can still just remove the np. and continue on.
