Following Suggestion to Say Hi since I am new

Hello,

I recently joined. I am looking forward to learning different things here.

Here is a little about myself. I live in the western part of the USA. I have lots of medical and mental health issues.

Some of them are:

  • Chronic Pain herniated disks in both my neck and back.
  • Depression
  • Social Anxiety

Please do not feel sorry for me I am not looking for that.

One question is why am I unable to post using Chrome, Opera, or Vivaldi? I am guessing that an extension I have installed is not allowing me to do so. Which of these extensions would cause me to not be able to post? https everywhere or ublock origin?

Some things I enjoy learning about are:

  • Android
  • Food and Nutrition
  • Binaural Beats
  • How to deal with my medical/mental issues

    About your posting issues, I use Chrome with ublock Origin and am able to post. Does https everywhere clash with sites that are already https, perhaps?

      @NotWearingPants Do you use incognito or regular mode when using Chrome? I have turned off all my extensions but still have the issues. I have sent an email to support.

        Regular mode. I'll try some variations on my extensions this weekend and see if I can make it fail.

      I have tried with both https everywhere and ublock origin off and on still have the unable to post issue. I have tried with and without incognito/private and that does not help the issue. No other website I use has this same issue only this one. Do you have any other suggestions?

        If you're on mobile or an otherwise lower resolution screen, you may have to be at a tribe's page like /t/Lounge before you'll see the drop-down panel under the sidebar icon at the right of the second bar across the page, where you'll find participation buttons to submit a link or start a discussion. Bob's your uncle.

          This issue is happening on a pc with Windows 10. I do not know nor have met Bob. Where or how do I meet Bob?

            It's just a saying. On Windows, you'd have to be at some heavy magnification to get the mobile interface. Do you not get the bright green Submit button at the top right of the page? How does posting fail?

              I do see the submit button also the edit and start a discussion buttons. When I click on them the screen does not move. The edit and start discussion buttons have the spinning circle inside them but the page does not move. I am unable to enter any text.

              Well, I don't know how frustrated you are already by these hassles. I've got no real idea what might be going on, but sometimes we don't care what it is so much as we want it fixed, am I right? So let's dash the problem-solving and reboot the machine and try again. It's Windows, right? If that didn't do it, and you weren't already sick of going down the garden path, you might power cycle whatever modems, routers, or small furry woodland creatures you ritually sacrifice for internet service as the case may be. If that didn't fix it, I'd be astonished. I'd start clearing caches, but I'd be astonished. Sorry for these troubles, they're clearly hugely unfair and definitely not what one'd expect of day-to-day use at Snapzu.

              This is what I consider a very clever and amusing reply. It is frustrating. I have sent an email to faq@snapzu.com hopefully they will be able to help me solve the issues. I admire those who can give these kinds of replies.

    Welcome! I have all of my adblockers whitelisting Snapzu, and my script blockers allows all scripts on Snapzu. I hope you're able to solve your problem! I'm not a tech guy, so I won't be much help.
