Welcome fellow reds!

Let me start with thanking every single one of you for visiting (and hopefully joining) this tribe! I've been a liverpool fan all my life and found it tragic that this site didn't have a tribe dedicated to this wonderful club. So hopefully we can build this tribe into something special where fellow LFC supporters can share their view on certain matters and contributing to making this tribe the best it can be!

Personally, I will try my best to do my part (despite my very limited experience with moderating and snapzu in general), and I welcome all suggestions, tips and help any of you can provide me with. Also, I highly encourage everyone to contribute with relevant content as much as possible (despite being off-season atm) just to set this community off to a flying start.

Let's do this guys!

Thought there would be more than just you and me already given that it looks like there are already a few thousand users here already but let's be patient I guess.

Straight to it I guess. Fairly happy with our signings so far, and in general happy that it seems we are doing something about what has to be said was a disappointing season last year. I hadn't heard much about Firmino prior to our interest, but from what little I have gathered since then he looks a good player. I hope he starts well and the large fee doesn't get used against him if he doesn't score 10 goals in his first game as the media is likely to try and do.

Milner is a solid buy and I'm happy we got a tried and tested product like him in midfield.

I saw that we are not interested in keeping up Manquillo's loan now that we have Clyne. We didn't get to see much of him last season so I just have to trust Rodgers and his staff who must have come to the conclusion that, judging on training sessions, he hasn't got what it takes.

We need to sign a great striker. We have lost out on Bacca now and need to get someone of top quality. I love Sturridge and you'd be a fool to think he isn't good enough for Liverpool, but we'd be equally foolish to really on him being fit. Oh how I wish he wasn't made out of glass. He's not even expected to start the season so far is he?

Nothing of great insight to say right now as I'm not really one for speculation. In general I'm happy if not ecstatic at where we are now, and very much in favour of continuing with Rodgers. I won't easily forget the season before last (can't see how to link text to a page at the moment, so here is an ugly URL: http://imgur.com/IQ5nrFH).

I guess every tribe has to start somewhere, so why not with us? I definitely agree with everything you are saying, happy with our signings, but not ecstatic if I'm honest, and that's okay. It's not like we usually go around snapping up players from the highest quality, so I don't think we can expect that. Although I'm very interested in seeing how Firmino will fit in! Let's hope BR has a plan regarding strikers, because we can't,like you said, rely on Sturridge.
