Senator Rand Paul assaulted at Bowling Green home
On Friday, the Kentucky State Police responded to Rand Paul's residence in Bowling Green at 3:21 p.m. When they arrived, troopers say they discovered that Rene Boucher, 59, of Bowling Green, intentionally assaulted Sen. Rand Paul causing minor injury. Troopers say Senator Paul was not transported to the hospital.

Heroin overdoses spike in Louisville

"He enjoyed the attention he got from the Facebook stuff" An aspiring weatherman was arrested in Kentucky this week after intentionally setting a wildfire in order to film it and get more Facebook views. Johnny Mullins, 21, was arrested and charged with second-degree arson, the Associated Press reported. He often posted video segments that he called “Weather Outlook,” NBC News reported. His final video got 2,900 views.

A Kentucky state lawmaker has filed a bill that would require men to have at least two office visits and swear on a Bible they are married before a doctor could prescribe them erectile dysfunction medication. The bill by State Representative Mary Lou Marzian, a Democrat from Louisville, is in response to Republican Gov. Matt Bevin signing a bill last week requiring women to consult with a doctor at least 24 hours before an abortion.
