Wannabe Weatherman Arrested for Starting Wildfire to Get Facebook Views
"He enjoyed the attention he got from the Facebook stuff" An aspiring weatherman was arrested in Kentucky this week after intentionally setting a wildfire in order to film it and get more Facebook views. Johnny Mullins, 21, was arrested and charged with second-degree arson, the Associated Press reported. He often posted video segments that he called “Weather Outlook,” NBC News reported. His final video got 2,900 views.

Living in TN I can say that he needs to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. We have been in a drought for a long time and the woods are nothing but tinder. Our air quality was so bad for the past couple of weeks, miles away from the fires, that people have had to wear masks and stay indoors. I regret not taking a picture of the day the sun was blotted out by the smoke from these fires. Our only real hope is that it rains for a full day or two here.
