Bane-Like Razer Zephyr N95 Mask Is Real, and You Can Buy It
Razer is taking on the COVID-19 pandemic by launching its new Zephyr face masks, which are designed to keep gamers safe — if you’re brave enough to wear them in public. Though the Razer Zephyr, originally announced as Project Hazel, has a similar black-clad aesthetic as most of the company’s gaming laptops, the gaming-forward, RGB-lit dual fans on your face could make the contraption seem a bit ostentatious as a face covering. Don’t expect to go incognito when you’re donning the Zephyr.

Withings Smartwatch Cleared by FDA to Detect Respiratory Issues
Back at CES 2020, Withings threw down the gauntlet with the ScanWatch, a sleek smartwatch it claimed could take electrocardiograms and monitor for respiratory disorders during sleep. It was incredibly ambitious, but since then, we’ve heard nothing but crickets. Now, after nearly two years, the Food and Drug Administration has finally granted the ScanWatch clearance for both its ECG and blood oxygen features.

Apple Watch Series 7 Clones Emerge in China
Images purporting to show counterfeit clones of upcoming Apple Watch Series 7 models have been shared online, giving a closer look at the device's expected redesign. The images, shared in a tweet from the user known as "Majin Bu," show counterfeit clones of the Apple Watch Series 7 in Space Gray, Silver, and Space Black. The design of the clones closely matches the redesign that is expected to bring squared-off edges to the Apple Watch, much like those of the iPhone 12 lineup, iPad Air, iPad Pro, and 24-inch iMac.

The fan-equipped Zephyr Pro gaming mouse is much cooler than the original
About a year ago, I wrote about a gaming mouse called the Zephyr that came with a unique feature: a built-in fan designed to cool your palm as you play games. It didn’t blow me away; the fan was loud, vibrated a lot, and didn’t really feel all that cool. But the creators, now known as Marsback, have returned with a new “sweat-proof” gaming mouse called the Zephyr Pro. And it’s a big improvement.

Review: Anker PowerWave brings MagSafe compatible charging to the car with a secured vent mount
I’ve made it clear in previous posts that I love MagSafe. After not initially thinking I would care much for it, I now use it exclusively to charge my iPhone 12 Mini. Since discovering that Apple’s MagSafe charger can also charge my AirPods Pro (thanks ATP!), I rarely use Lightning. Of course, charging in the car is a big part of an iPhone user’s life, so getting a compatible MagSafe in the car is a must-have. Since the iPhone 12 line was released, I’ve been the ESR HaloLock in the car, but I recently switched over to the Anker PowerWave, and it’s the best option to charge via MagSafe in the Car.

Ikea's First Smart Air Purifier Comes Camouflaged as a Side Table
Ikea continues to take the invisible approach to its smart home gadgets by camouflaging them as other things. Its new Starkvind smart air purifier is available in two versions, but the better of the pair is cleverly disguised as a small end table, so in addition to removing unwanted particles from the air, you can also use it as storage for unwanted coffee table books and knick-knacks.

Farewell HomePod, Apple's most misunderstood product
Farewell HomePod. It was probably Apple’s most misunderstood product, so it’s mostly unsurprising that Apple made the decision to discontinue it. There was a huge chasm between what it really was, and what most people thought it was – and Apple’s marketing didn’t help...
