Colin Trevorrow admits "There probably should have only been one Jurassic Park"
Few people have profited more obviously from Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park—and its subsequent franchise of films—than director Colin Trevorrow. It was, after all, Trevorrow’s 2015 revival project Jurassic World that launched him from an up-and-coming indie director with one minor hit to his name (2012's Safety Not Guaranteed), into a verifiable blockbuster sensation. So it’s interesting to hear Trevorrow state, in a new interview tied to his latest franchise sequel, Jurassic World: Dominion, that “There probably should have only been one Jurassic Park.”

Kevin Feige On Not Recasting T’Challa In The MCU: ‘It Was Much Too Soon’
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, stories of Black Panther have so far focused primarily on the character of T’Challa – from his introduction in Captain America: Civil War, through to groundbreaking solo outing Black Panther, and into Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame – as he took over the mantle from his fallen father King T’Chaka. But following the tragic loss of Chadwick Boseman, Ryan Coogler’s sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be a very different kind of Black Panther movie – one without T’Challa at its centre, though still very much about his legacy.

How Marvel’s ‘Thor 4’ Became An Unprecedented Box Office Success
The top movie over the weekend at Vudu was Marvel and Walt Disney’sDIS +0.3% Thor: Love and Thunder, with ParamountPARA -2.4% and Skydance’s Top Gun: Maverick placing second. The size of Top Gun 2’s haul ($705 million domestic and $1.453 billion thus far) has put the MCU on the defensive despite objectively high earnings for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness ($955 million) and Thor: Love and Thunder ($750 million).

Nope Cinematography Analysis
Jordan Peele earned his status as one of Hollywood’s most important new filmmakers when he arrived on the directorial scene with Get Out (2017), a psychological horror film with themes of internalized racism and the lingering effects of slavery. He followed it up with Us (2019), another introspective horror that served as a social critique of classism and “Othering” in America.

Interstellar vs. Disney’s The Black Hole
I think it’s safe to assume that most of you have at least heard about the film Interstellar. Directed by Christopher Nolan and starred by Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, and Jessica Chastain, the 2014 movie was a hit. Many consider it the best sci-fi movie ever made (thus far). And part of this success is due to the black hole in the movie.

What Prey Haters Fail to Grasp About the Original Predator Movie
It must be gratifying for filmmakers to know that the Monday after Prey’s premiere on Hulu (and Disney+ in Europe), many were debating whether the Predator prequel should’ve been released in theaters. The quality is certainly good enough with the film generally impressing most critics as demonstrated by its 92 percent “fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes. A majority of viewers also seem pleased if social media chatter is to be believed.

How woke politics is destroying the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Ever since Phase 3, Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has been witnessing a severe decline in quality, with several movies such as Captain Marvel and Black Panther focusing more and more on identity politics and feminism. Nonetheless, we also got some of the finest of MCU in Phase 3, such as Captain America: Civil War, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. It is only from MCU Phase 4 that Marvel movies have truly become sub-par in every single aspect. Why is it so?
