Minneapolis Based Rap conglomerate Doomtree's follow-up to their Final Blowout last year: an all-day party going down at CHS Field in St. Paul on October 3rd. Guests include: Aesop Rock, Trash Talk, Shabazz Palaces, Open Mike Eagle, Aby Wolf, Serengeti, and more. Plus, lots of kid-friendly activities during the day. Once the music starts though, the lyrics will be... less kid friendly.

Now where's that new album?

Doomtree is a hip hop collective and self-run label from Minnesota, featuring five rappers and two producers. Each of the members has also released solo material on the label. They embody the spirit of DIY music. I was lucky enough to see them live a couple of weeks ago, and between songs one of them pointed out that "everyone who runs our record label is here tonight". This song is from their latest album, All Hands.

As well as a solo artist, Dessa is also a member of hip hop collective, Doomtree. Her lyrics are thought-provoking and her delivery is precise.
