Lego stops advertising in the Daily Mail
Lego will stop advertising its products in the Daily Mail, following a public campaign calling on big companies to drop adverts from newspapers accused of promoting “hatred, discrimination and demonisation”, the company has announced. The Danish firm, which has previously run free giveaways in the newspaper, responded to social media campaigners Stop Funding Hate by tweeting: “We have finished the agreement with the Daily Mail and are not planning any future promotional activity with the newspaper."

New Zealand has regained its top spot in a global watchdog's rundown of the most corruption-free countries in the world. Transparency International, a Berlin-based anti-corruption organisation, uses World Bank data, the World Economic Forum and other institutions to rank 176 countries by perceived levels of corruption. New Zealand and Denmark were jointly ranked as the two least corrupt nations but the watchdog warned about the rise of populism risking greater corruption around the world.

Denmark gets its first wolf pack in 200 years
Scientists in Denmark say that the country now has its first pack of wolves in over 200 years. Wolves hadn't been seen in the country in two centuries until one was spotted in Jutland five years ago. Since then, there have been concerns that male and female animals would meet and eventually mate, the Copenhagen Post reports. That now appears to have happened. DNA evidence from faeces has confirmed a female has settled in west Jutland, and CCTV images have shown a pair of wolves moving together in the region.

Denmark to abolish blasphemy law after government party changes stance
In an about turn on its previous position, Denmark’s governing Venstre (Liberal) party has announced that it now supports removing a blasphemy paragraph from the country’s law code. The change of stance by the party, the largest in the coalition government, means that the paragraph will probably be abolished in parliament Friday, reports DR.

Happy
The little flower seems happy and there is also plenty to be happy about. It is a very seldom flower in Denmark, but the spread of bee orchid, as it is called, in the area where I found it is increasing :-)
