Cyberpunk 2077 Still Set for September 2020 Release Date, CD Projekt Red Confirms
Despite the coronavirus outbreak, CD Projekt Red says that Cyberpunk 2077 is still on track for its 17th September 2020 release date. Although employees are now working from home, the studio is confident that the project can go ahead "without major disruptions". That's according to a new post on the company's official website.

Cyberpunk 2077’s DLC and story expansions will be announced before the game’s September release, developer CD Projekt has suggested. Speaking in a Polish investor Q&A on Thursday (translated by VGC), CD Projekt president Adam Kiciński confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will have “no less DLC than The Witcher 3 had.” The comment suggests Cyberpunk will receive content equivalent to or bigger than the two full story expansions and 16 DLC packs The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt did following its release in May 2015.

Studio Trigger, the anime production company made up of former members of the legendary studio Gainax, is producing a Cyberpunk 2077 anime for Netflix set to premiere in 2022. Called Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the anime will be a standalone story set in the world of developer CD Projekt Red’s upcoming open-world action roleplaying game.

Cyberpunk 2077's wall running scrapped due to design reasons
