Anti-Brexit group challenges UK government over Article 50 disclosure
A group opposed to Britain's exit from the European Union has accused the government of refusing to allow it to make public the official justification for triggering Article 50 to start the Brexit process without a parliamentary vote. The British government's position is that it has no legal obligation to consult parliament on invoking Article 50 of the EU's Lisbon Treaty which will give Britain a two-year period to work out the terms of its departure.

How open borders killed the Labour party
Barring a most spectacular Mossad operation – and I wouldn’t put it past them – Jeremy Corbyn will be re-elected Labour leader on Saturday. There is almost nothing Labour moderates can do about this now but accept the annihilation facing them at the next election; even then, party members may still re-elect Corbyn, or choose someone from a similar background, maybe even someone more left-wing if such a thing exists. There is nothing that can be done because the make-up of the Labour Party has now changed.

Theresa May tells ministers UK must make success of Brexit
The government will "push ahead" to triggering Brexit without Parliamentary approval, Downing Street says. In a statement after Theresa May's cabinet gathered at Chequers, Number 10 said ministers agreed on the need for a "unique" deal for the UK. Mrs May told cabinet colleagues to focus on the "opportunities" outside the EU as she reiterated there would be no second referendum. The UK would not stay in the EU "by the back door", she added.

Britain To Foreign Workers: If You Don't Make $50,000 A Year, Please Leave
Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron promised back in 2010 to bring net migration down to 100,000 people a year. Six years later, it's more than three times that number. That's one reason the government's Home Office decided that non-Europeans on skilled worker visas — known as Tier 2 visas — are not welcome to stay unless they are making at least 35,000 British pounds (about $50,000 a year).
