I think they mean first in the UK. SMDS is mentioned in the article.
At least it's not getting forced in to being a sitcom like SMDS...although I don't know how I feel about a talking heads version either. In fact I just don't have confidence this will work as a TV show, at least if it is to retain the identity of the original! I would love to be proven wrong though :)
Hadn't heard of it before. They seem pretty funny though, might spend some more time there :)
