Has anyone tried the new Gutenberg editor in WordPress?

I was wondering how you guys feel about the new block style of composing blog posts. Better? Worse? Just different?

Meh I find that it just complicates things unnecessarily. The beta that I played with is quite polished though and I'm sure some ppl will like it.

Nope not yet. I'll share my thoughts on it once I get a chance to try it.

What's so special or different about it?

The way you compose blog posts has changed. So basically now you can work in blocks with different pre-determined formats and just move them around to compose your post.

I haven’t tried it yet but I think it’s going to be that good or any better. My theme has something similar built-in for posts and I’ll be glad to have it as a native Wordpress function!
