Welcome to the BAR-B-QUE tribe!
Welcome to the BBQ community at Snapzu! We're dedicated to teaching and promoting the art of BBQ, and in pursuit of that goal we welcome both enthusiasts and veterans alike. First lets set the pace for the tribe. We consider both hot and fast grilling, and slow and low cooking styles to be methods of BBQ cooking that are OK here. When we say we welcome all, we don't mean all who prefer one style over another.
So lets have it, pull up a chair, grab a beer, and tell us about yourself.
I'll go first. I've been cooking outdoors for more than 10 years, and I've never cooked professionally. I don't really have a desire too either, I just enjoy tending fire and cooking up food for myself, my family, and my friends to enjoy. I cook on an offset Brinkmann trail master that has been slightly modified to suit my personal preferences. I usually cook with oak and hickory woods and prefer lump over regular charcoal.
