Man that first year in school was a mind blower. The kid went from the alphabet to being able to read and write. I just couldn't believe how fast kids can take information in.
It really is insane! I barely have to read video game prompts to him anymore. It's sad.. he's growing up.
I still have my 4 year old that needs me to read him the prompts, and help him with the hard parts. But he seems to learn faster because his brother is there to help him. Man, time flies.
Definitely. My oldest (he's 6) is finishing his second baseball season. It blows my mind how much he's improved since he started playing.
