    From your perspective, looking down at it? That's how I've always done belts... no one ever told me it was backwards...

      You'd find out real quick if you join the military. Plus you have to line your buckle up with the seams in your pants and shirt.

      The only way I learned that it was different is when a number of women tried to take my belt off and were confused. I didn't know about the military thing.
