I avoided the safety razors because I thought it was just a huge hipster circle-jerk, and I would get the Mach 3s from Costco at a good price. Earlier this week, I got crazy and ordered a safety razor starter kit and shaved yesterday. HOLY FUCK WHAT A DIFFERENCE! It's not even a little or just a preference...it really is that much better.
Edit/addition: and those poor people that use the blue or yellow totally disposable ones. That's like taking a bath with a rock instead of a loofah or wash cloth.
