The smell of a meadow of grass and flowers in late spring. It brings back memories of a time kids could walk around without a care in the world and just enjoy the sunshine. Also thunderstorms, a few minutes before they hit. You can smell the rain in the air. It reminds me of my grandpa and grandmas house for some reason.
Chanel No. 5. It just takes me back to when I was small and my parents were unfortunately still together. I'd be hiding under the covers beside my mom in her bed while my father lost his temper, going into the rages he was/is prone to. Even now, Chanel No. 5 is one of the most comforting scents I can think of, right up there with hay and horse farm, since we still lived in the country then.

A summer afternoon sunshower on a hot road.

The smell of my house rabbit's hay always brings back memories of us playing in my Uncle Em's barn loft in the hay as a kid..Such fun!
