Hopefully a new MacBook Pro when I graduate! I'm currently using the mid-2009 model and it's quite slow sometimes. I can manage 2 Adobe programs running simultaneously with the browser but when I bring Spotify or another Adobe program into the mix, it slows down real fast.

I'm quite of the Anti-Apple people myself but to each their own treasures.
To carry out heavy softwares I always advise to get a proper desktop with all the juicy computer parts to fine-tune the rig to your own wishes.
I do plan on getting a PC down the road though!
