Keeping track of daily your calorie in-take with your daily budget. It really puts into perspective the affect certain items of food and drink have on our weight. I lost 18 kgs simply by tracking my daily in-take. I have never said I can't have any item of food, but knowing how much it affects me has limited how often I have it. It also showed me the difference between the affect of exercise and being good with your food. I am no expert on health or weight loss but I found this simple thing made a huge difference for me.

Reminds me of the guy that lost weight eating only twinkies. It's not what you eat but how much.

I can totally vouch for this! I am pretty lazy and i have a desk job. I reduced my caloric intake and started tracking everything i ate with my fitness pal. I've lost 15 pounds in 4 months with literally 0 effort. Last night I had chicken nuggets for dinner. As long as it's in my daily budget, ill eat it.

Yes I remember reading about that. It's really crazy. It's also why I had to remind my step-mother who decided to do the same thing as me but took it to a whole other level, that it is a system that helps weight loss, it is not a system that measures health of diet.

Btw, if you don't mind my asking, how did your username come to be. It's stuck out to me seeing as you replied to two of my posts in short procession and I find myself truly curious as to its origin haha :D

Furt is a recurring goblin name in MTG. And I think wigglepants came from a random name generated from a game, Halo I think.
