I promised myself that I would never work retail again. When I moved from California to West Virginia, I was unable to find work for 9 months. It was become a coal miner or find a retail sales job. I sucked it up and went back to retail management and I have been 'stuck' for the past 5 years. I do have plans to open a business of my own though when the time and place are right.
