    When someone is convinced they know how you feel or what you're thinking and responds to the assumptions instead of your actions. Especially when you've actually explained it (and they choose to know better than you about what's going on in your head).

    E.g., "I'm really not disappointed" "It's ok, you're allowed to be" "But I'm not" "Mm hmm"
