It didn't hit me hard, but I was extremely disappointing that Heath Ledger passed away when he did. I was not a fan. I didn't think much of him as an actor and then I saw the Dark Knight and saw how immersed he was in the role. He surprised me. I went from seeing him as a pretty boy to a versatile actor with something real to offer. Then he was dead. It was like lighting a match and blowing out the flame at the same time. Frustrating.
