Yes, the 2nd day I was there I actually got the want-ads out and started looking for a job, haha. I talked to a few people while I was there as they moved there for work and they said about the first year, year and a half, everything was awesome, but once you see and do all there is to do, it's like every other place and the downside was to take a vacation you can't of course just hop a bus or jump into your car, you have to fly somewhere.
I had the same reaction when I visited what stopped me was the extra cost of everything from having to import. I just vowed to visit again which will happen eventually.
Yeh when I was there I didn't get all crazy doing every Tourist thing there was to do, so when I go back one day there will still be things I can do there. Yes you don't realize that everything has to be brought in, I think a gallon of milk was like $7-$9 when I was there, somewhere around that amount. Course I wasn't drinking milk, haha!
Lol of course not but other liberations are more expensive as well.
Hotel I was at had happy hour from 3-4 or 5, two beers or two mai tias (SP) for the price of one at the pool bar too!! I was always there promptly at 3 everyday.
That sounds great. It is also the reason to stay at the embassy suites if you can as they usually have a managers reception with limited or unlimited free drinks depending on the hotel.
