So many things. Bad acting. Bad writing. Bad dialogue. Requiring too much suspension of disbelief. Shaking cameras. Pretty much anything written or directed by Michael Bay. Anything starring Shia LaBeouf.

All of those. Avatar is a perfect example...Plot so easy to figure out a five year old could do it.

Crappy projectors - I saw Sisters recently and the right half of the screen was noticeably dimmer than the left, to the point that it sometimes became difficult to discern finer details. It sucked.

Unlikeable characters, especially the main character. I don't dislike many movies, but I couldn't stand "Tammy" - Melissa McCarthy's character had zero redeeming qualities for me and the whole movie just made me feel ill.

Shaky cameras - have thrown up in the cinema 37 times and counting.

      Agreed. Remember Cloverfield.

One particular thing that bothers me but not my friends is when actors are just too attractive for their role. The actors may even be convincing, but their physical appearance just keeps throwing me off. It is not that beautiful people canĀ“t be intelligent.

Trying too hard to provoke an emotion. If a situation makes me feel something, you don't have to underline it tenfold with music and have a character spell it out for me, thank you, I'll figure it out, and decide for myself.

Bad audio mixing. I hate in some movies how the dialogue is so soft and the music and other sounds are overwhelming, if you've turned it up loud enough to hear the speech.

I agree with Spaceghoti ... so many things can ruin a movie for me.... bad writing, bad acting, bad pace ... gapping plot holes, and bad dialogue... but, the number one thing that ruins a movie for me is the "damsel" running from the bad guy in spike heels, through the woods, at night... I would take those heels, and bury in the forehead of whatever "monster" is chasing me ... why these "damsels" can't figure THAT out is beyond me .... hence why I refuse to watch campy horror movies.. lol

My son asking questions. I might have to watch Deadpool without him.
