    I'd rather let 10 people get run over by the rail car than pull a lever and kill 1 person.

      That's not really controversial though. The majority of people asked similar questions believe that they wouldn't be able to bring themselves to act in a hypothetical situation like that. Something about not having sociopathic tendencies.
