I really wanted a Furby. I was so upset that I never got one. Then recently, I remembered Furbys were a thing and googled them. They were frigging creepy! Now I'm glad I never got one.
After playing with my friend's I realized I didn't want it waking up in the middle of the night and freaking me out.
Omg I wasn't even aware they did that! Now I have even more reason to be creeped out!
Yeah they are creepy little creatures.
Wait... how did they talk in the night? I thought they had off switches!
I may be remembering wrong but I don't think the originals did. That was one of the "perks".

Smart call. I feel like if you had opened it/taken it home, your life would turn into some sort of horror film!
I really wanted one of those fancy red sports car pedal cars when I was 6 years old but never did get one!
Along those lines I really wanted the power jeep.
"Hungry Hungry Hippos"
I always really wanted one of those cars with a little engine in it, you know, the one that go 3km/h. We didn't really have the money for those.
I wanted one of those big trampolines. Now as an adult I fully understand my parents reasoning.
The ghostbusters' backpack with working lights. Man I dreamed about that for a while when I was 4 and 5.
Lego. Mother didn't think it was 'creative' enough. In retrospect I think that was her way of saying she couldn't afford it.
The shoes of the kid in ET (those with the lights that flashes when you take a step)
