What do you like about Snapzu?

I like it here because not every second comment is about dank/meme/jet fuel/OP's mom.

I like it because it's a smaller community, that seems to care a lot more about the user experience than other alternative communities. People really seem to take ownership of the community, and want to continue to make it better. That's the biggest thing for me.

I love how the Snapzu community very organically integrated the reddit "immigrants." There was no drama, and everyone worked together to make sure the community's "culture" was respected as the user base grew.

I love how discussions are always civil and respectful no matter the topic. It's like we're all friends of friends here, so nobody wants to be an ass just because they're on the Internet.

Finally, I love how sparingly the downvote button is used. I've been downvoted a few times (especially on topics touching on the Hugo Awards and the Sad Puppies... Wonder why?) but overall, when people disagree they do so respectfully through a comment, not through the downvote button.

I like it because almost all the comments are thoughtful in some way, and have a lot of substance to them. I definitely prefer the quality over quantity!

It feels very like the early SU. I wonder why that is? :)

I think /u/utesred pretty clearly summarised why I like it here. I feel like I've only seen one or two comments so far that are negative in nature - and I don't mean that they disagree or something (I've seen plenty of those) - I mean comments that just don't add to the conversation. It makes me feel like I should think about what I'm about to post and should try to add to the discussion as much as possible. (and I think I've seen that attitude through the posts of other people. Sadly this'll mean that less posts will be made, but of higher quality, so I think it's worth it in the end.)
