We had mutual friends on an mmo called city of heroes but I never paid him attention until a player meet. We were both with other people and just got talking and teaming up sometimes as friends. His visa here ended and his relationship ended and then mine ended also. So I ended up flying out to stay with him in Australia.
We are now 5 years married, back in the UK and have two boys :)
I love him deeply, even when he's occasionally a thoughtless dolt; I'm sure I am too sometimes.

That's great congratulations on 5 years! I hear city of heroes was a great game.
Socially it was awesome, still the best character creation/costume maker. There was a lot of game play lack but at the time it was amazing :)
Some dedicated people gave got the old maps and stuff to work as a chatroom thing with the costume functionality. I haven't had a look yet though.
