My wife went to Urgent Care and then the ER over some chest pains, faintness, and difficulty breathing last week. She's in her 20's. (It was apparently indigestion, but she's going to follow up just in case). She was at work, and had a co-worker take her. I went to go check on her as soon as I found out and got a fix on her location.

It was a really scary moment, for both of us. We've only been married a few years now, but on the drive to go be with her I was contemplating life as a thirty something widower. Not a pleasant experience, or thought process to wander down. Looking back on the past week, it actually made me a bit depressed because of the swiftness of it, and the realization of how tenuous life can be. We're both okay, now, but we've both also reached the conclusion that some of our routines and habits need to change if we want to be with each other for the next 50+ years.
