My vote would be with taking responsibility for your own actions. I'm in a customer service job and the number of people that blame their mistakes on something else is just frustrating. If I make a mistake or do something wrong, yep, my bad, I've learned this and this from the situation and I ain't going to make the same mistake again.

Sure every time it happens, it's on the news 24 hours a day for 3 weeks, but the maintenance on planes, especially commercial ones, is very, very tightly controlled. When your flight gets delayed, it may be that the silliest thing was malfunctioning and the code forbids them to take off this way : planes are inspected before every take off, and thoroughly every week or so.
According to the National Safety Council, you are 75 times more likely to die in a car crash than in a plane crash. Yet, almost no one fears driving.
