    I think its to help build community and link in with like minded people who may be posting stuff that you may find interesting.

    I have only been on here a short time and when I got the first notification I was being followed it felt a bit alarming- ha ha- a frisson of fear. I'm good with it now.

      I'm creeping on you now. Some of these people have 1000s of followers, it's crazy. But it's also a cool way to customize your feed ad tailor it to your tastes.
