Pokemon. It's a fantasy world with amazing animals absolutely anyone can own and train (unlike many series where interesting things only happen to a select/chosen few), it seems pretty low lethality because humans in that world are much more hardy than humans in reality, and it's not so different from the real world that I would be uncomfortable with the adjustment or completely lacking the skills required to survive.
Star Trek - not as a member of starfleet, just on earth or a nice colony in Federation space. Imagine the holidays! The holodecks. The technology! So amazing. The preference for jumpsuits notsomuch but still. Perfect.
I think being in the loony toons would be awesome. Being able to summon whatever you though about from behind you back would be awesome. I think something like sherlock would be pretty cool to, but i'd probably just want to hear about his tales so watching the show from the loony toons universe would be better.

Does he have pantyhose on, or just really nice legs?
Your answer will help me determine my own.

You don't rock a Skant without naturally silky drumsticks.
Walking Dead just to spice things up.
Mythbusters. Hands down. If it has to be fictional: Futurama

Gintama, a lot more exciting things happen than in the world we live in.
Babylon 5. I think the trekverse is too stuffy, I don't like the Jedi because they're religious fanatics, and like the future tech.
