[Discussion] What well liked character from a show do you despise, and why?

What mostly well received and well liked character from a show can you just not stand? Could be MC, could be a side character.

For me I really don't like Madoka from Madoka Magica. (Joking poster about it here if you're interested)

She just doesn't really serve that great of a purpose throughout the show. Yes she becomes Godokka and thats all well and good but besides that and the stuff related to that in the last episode, she really only seems to serve as something for all the other characters to latch on to, something that connects the different characters to one another.

She is a major plot point in the show, but she never really does anything of significance in my opinion.

So what well liked character do you really not care for?

Kamina from TTGL - it felt like he was holding Simon back from being successful.

Yukinoshita has a cold black heart. I wouldn't be able to put up with her, her sister, Hayato or Iroha. That being said, nobody likes Hayato. So I guess just Yukinoshita. I can not think of a redeeming quality. Yui is great.

Do people actually like Madoka as a character? I don't hate her or anything, I just don't find her particularly interesting, compelling, or endearing. Although, to be fair, the whole series is somewhat lacking on the character end of things, IMO. It did a lot of things really, really well, especially things that don't normally get done well, but it just didn't have the most compelling characters, IMO.

Yuno from Future Diary/Mirai Nikki. I stopped watching the show mostly because of her and in part because of her fans. She's one of the most, if not most (and is from the wiki poll) popular character and that sickens me. Maybe I'm just a bit too squeamish with a focus on psychopathy in a relationship, but I've seen girls who idealize her and wanna be yandere (literally means a violent psychopath that displays affection towards a romantic interest but may or may not end up cutting their head off later) themselves and my god does it scare me to think people are taking a literal psychopath (and a fictional one at that!) as a role model and idealizing mental illness and abusive relationships.
