[Spoilers] Overlord - Episode 10 Discussion Thread

Was anyone completely confused at the 10th episode of overlord? I was so out of it and couldn't understand the story I had to go read the manga (Starting Volume 3). It was sadly the most rushed episode of a really good anime, I really hope they don't do this again.

Here's some clarification:

• The reason why Solution is being a little bitch is because she’s acting as the daughter of an extremely rich noble from a faraway country and that’s also give Sebas the opportunity to create relations with important people and gain information under the disguise of a butler (not that he’s not a butler, well you got it).

• The novel gives us a little backstory on Zach’s life. He was the son of poor farmers, one day his parents sold his beloved little sister as a slave, he then got recruited to the army 3 times and end up deserting the army to join a mercenary group as a way to earn money.
• In the conversation about the relationship between Shalltear and Aura is also revealed that Sebas and Demiurge don’t get along very well.
• They talk a bit about the 8th floor, which they are prohibited to enter by Ainz. Shalltear talks about going there in a joking way and regrets it right after saying that if she heard other guardian saying such a thing she would send spies after said guardian and bring him to Ainz in case he disobey orders.
• Sometime later Sebastian ends up saying that Demiurge would be a better choice for the upcoming mission because he has strong mind control skills and Shalltear can’t control her actions because of her passive skill (more blood = more crazy Shalltear). As Shalltear showed killing intent towards Sebas because of this, he apologies for being rude to her and for questioning Ainz decisions.

• There’s also a lively talk about food between Solution and Shalltear. They have strange hobbies.
• All the travelling between the carriage assault and Brain Unglaus camp was cut. In the LN we also got a deep background about Brain’s training and skills, some would assume he is more powerful than Gazef by now. Those are really long sections and I won’t be able to get into details, sorry (oh yeah, Brain fights using a Katana, which is a rare weapon in the Kingdom and the Empire). This concludes most of the episode 10 report. I will need to read the novel again to avoid spoilers when talking about the last fight and I won’t have the time for that right now. I will edit this before the next episode.
