I liked it really, I think it's better than some big cliff hanger. Still a lot of questions that need to be answered in the ending.

I liked it, yes, but was also sort of put off by it. There didn't really seem to be much danger or tension, and at the end Mrs. d23 said, "Coming off of Rokka, the animation here really isn't that great" and it's...not. That said, I'll happily watch more. But I'm not sure why I should care about a main character that is never really in any danger.

Not a bad ending for the first season. I was expecting the resurrection, though I thought he'd use the rod that was shown in the third ep.; I guess it's not much use when the body's been completely obliterated. Wish there'd been more substance instead of the LN teasing for the latter half of the ep. >_>
