Volkswagen Bus Toaster
The blog WebUrbanist is reporting that annually in Japan, Volkswagen makes a special toaster that looks like one of their vintage Type 2 buses and, while not available in stores, is “offered by VW dealers in Japan each year to the first 5,000 customers who bring their car in for an inspection.” Not only is the toaster’s exterior super cool but it also imprints the VW logo onto the the toasting bread.

AT&T's Next phone upgrade plans are a huge ripoff
T&T unveiled its new Next plan today, which allows you to pay a small monthly fee for the privilege of upgrading your phone every year without a down payment. It's an obvious response to T-Mobile's Jump plan, which costs $10 a month and allows for an upgrade every six months. Both plans sound like a great idea: you'll get a new phone much faster than before, without having to pay full price up front or resigning your contract every time.
