Pawn shop recovers Boston doctor's gold chain stolen from gym locker
A Boston doctor feared he might never see his prized possession again, after a thief broke into his Allston gym locker Wednesday and took off with the gold chain. "This is like the one thing I have that holds a ton of sentimental value to me," the doctor named John told WBZ.

Judge orders quick action on graphic cigarette warnings
A federal judge is ordering the Food and Drug Administration to quickly finish writing a rule requiring graphic warnings on cigarette packages and advertisements. Judge Indira Talwani in Boston said Wednesday the FDA hasn’t worked fast enough to issue new requirements after previous graphic warnings were struck down in 2012 when challenged by tobacco companies.

A local woman is outraged after she says an Uber driver raped her and then left the country. That suspect was arraigned on Friday, posted bail and is believed to have fled the country. Boston 25 News would not normally identify victims of sexual assault, but Emily Murray insisted to our Bob Ward that she wants to be seen and be heard. She told him she wants everyone to know what happened to her, and how the system failed her.

UPS Drivers To Demonstrate Against 70-Hour Work Week
UPS drivers are planning to demonstrate against a 70-hour work week during the holiday season. The Teamsters Locals said UPS “is forcing a 70-hour week for drivers” which is “a nationwide issue jeopardizing the safety of drivers and the general public.” UPS failed to plan ahead and hire seasonal drivers for the holidays, said the Teamsters, and instead increased the hours of regular workers to compensate.
