Welcome to 2014! How will this year be different for you?

Not necessarily about resolutions, but include those if you wish. However, now that 2013 is history, what is going to be different for you in 2014 and how are you going to make sure it is actually different?

  • How are you going to make your life different in 2014? What will you change?

I accomplished my goals I set for 2013. This time, I'm going to be a little more aggressive and I've identified 6 things that I plan to have accomplished by the end of 2014. I've started developing plans and steps to accomplish them along with "mini-goals" with timelines that will keep me on track.

I think just having generic goals like "I want to lose weight" are pretty much useless because they are too easy to ignore. My goals include specific steps like hiring a personal trainer to keep me honest with my exercising, making an appointment with a nutritionist to come up with meal plans and changing my schedule to allow for exercise. Those are just examples, but I have no intention of setting "resolutions" that are basically just "wishes." I'm designing plans for my goals that include measurable progress to make sure I'm on track for my various goals.

What are you guys and gals doing for 2014?

Id like to work on my exercise routine a bit more, and also focus on a better diet.
